Belgian Clubs

Well, in 1988 we decided to open a new club unlike any other club in Belgium. From our own extensive party & nightlife experience we decided right from the start that we would not be going for the fast buck. We wanted to create a club, a decor and an atmosphere where all the right ingredients for great night out would and should be available. We got together an excellent team of DJ's, party-organisers and decorators just to make sure every night is a true fiesta. Over the years we have been rewarded by the great number of people who have become dedicated, and loyal La Rocca clients. And, with a great deal of pride, we can tell you that this has led to incredible parties (you should see our photo-album: it's crazy!) La Rocca is definitely more than just a night out, it is an experience ... An experience you should not mis!

“La Rocca” is an absolute monument in the history and evolution of the Belgian (European?) NightLife and House Scene. As a club going off EVERY week-end for the last nine (9!) years, we can only say a very deep and honist “Thank You Wim and Ricardo and Crew” for all the work and trouble you have put up with in all the years of running the Club.

I sure spent an honorable amount of week-ends (read almost every week-end) in your club, from Friday till Monday (1991-1994 for me:) dancing in a fantastic environment that you provided and created. Still after all those years (last time I was in your Club was in 1994) I vividly remember the amazing energy radiating from the DanceFloor, the never ending creative decors and party themes. My best memories are forever to be linked with “La Rocca, The BallRoom of a Thousand Mirrors”.

The Illusion was founded in 1987. In the early years the music was a combination of all kinds of musicstyles, included the New Beat. As time went by, the music changed more into club and commercial dance. Since1993 we started to play only house music, more specific: trance & hardtrance and a mixture of the best retro and happy tracks. Nowadays, we still play the same musicstyle + a little bit of the non- commercial clubmusic. We always try to create new stuff to be trendsetter.
